Today is the European day of languages which has been celebrated on September 26th every year since 2001 in order to encourage lifelong language learning and alert the public to the importance of language learning. Our school celebrated this day by asking our students to make presentations about European Union countries. Later on they talked about their presentations in front of others. Afterwards we all played Kahoot to test our knowledge! People who got the highest scores won free-from-quiz tickets and grades in English. Thanks to this celebration we’ve learnt about many countries and we realise the importance of languages and cultural diversity.
